We are a data controller registered in England & Wales (Company No. 11214510) with our showroom at 249B Ashby High Street, Scunthorpe, DN16 2SQ.

1. Information we collect

When you contact us or submit our quote form we collect:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Postcode / address (to arrange a free home measure)
  • Details about the blinds or shutters you are interested in (measurements, styles, quantities)

We also collect limited technical information automatically when you browse the site, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure and improve how it works.

2. How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare an estimated quote.
  • To arrange and carry out a free home measure and fitting appointment.
  • To take payment, issue receipts, and handle after-sales support and warranty claims.
  • To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

Our lawful bases for processing are your consent (when you submit an enquiry), performance of a contract (when we supply and fit products), and our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We only share it with trusted parties who help us run the business, including our fitting team, our accountant, and secure IT / email providers. We may also disclose information where required by law.

4. How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your project. Order and invoice records are kept for at least 6 years to meet HMRC requirements.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete it.
  • Object to or restrict how we use it.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

6. Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies needed to display pages correctly, plus an embedded Google Map on our contact section which may set cookies from Google. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
